Good day to all teachers~!

The administration wants to remind you about some things that you have to observe during working hours.

Please take note of them and abide them at all times.

1. SKYPE 

Please refrain from using Skype unless it's really needed. The admin made it clear before that Skype should only be used for emergency purposes. Aside from the fact that it's costly, it is also incapable of recording the classes. As we all know, missing sound files may also lead to complaints from the students. If problems occur, such as call declines or choppy lines, please still try to stick to eyebeam. You may tell the student to call the student back just to refresh the connection. More so, you may choose to restart the eyebeam from time to time to prevent a connection problem before it actually occurs. Just in case it's inevitable to use Skype for one class, make it to a point to get back to eyebeam right away for the subsequent classes. The admin can track the calls that you're making so please use it properly.

2. MEMO FUNCTION

This function was recently added to the website. The main purpose of this function is to let the admin know about the problems that are encountered within the day. In line with this function, teachers are instructed to report all sorts of problems through this memo. Please include the student's name, time and a brief but concise explanation of the troubles that came up within the day. In addition, calls which were made through skype must also be reported in this memo. This memo serves as a proof of the occurence of the problems. Remedies are expected to be formulated easily and quickly through this function.

3. REPORTING

Please be diligent enough to report any kinds of problem to the admin whether it concerns the students, line quality, schedule, office needs and the likes. This is necessary to monitor the operation, to prevent some future problems and to provide appropriate solutions.

4. NEW BOOKS

Two new modules are made available in the website. FREE TALKING and REPORTED SPEECH. Teachers are expected to study every new module to get a glimpse on how to teach it during the class. More new modules are currently being developed and are soon to be made available in the website. You may recommend these books to your students.

5. GRAMMAR CONCERNS

As teachers, we are expected to provide quality lessons to our students. One part of it is providing grammatically correct construction of sentences both in daily comments and in level evaluation form. Please observe correct grammar at all times. Lapses may occur sometimes and they may be acceptable. However, basic grammar rules which are pretty obvious must be observed.
